ActiveX Control

Enabling Active X on your PC is a very important procedure and is always best done by someone who knows what they are doing and has access to these settings. Some companies may not allow the users access to this area. It has to be carried out by a member of their IT team. If, however,  you feel confident enough to do it and you have access to this section, follow these simple steps and it will work OK.

Step 1. Internet Options

To enable Active X scripting, click on Tools from your Browser and click Internet Options.

Step 2. Security Settings

Click the Security tab and the following screen will be displayed.

Step 3. Custom Level

Click on Custom Level and the following screen will come up.

You will need to click on Enable on Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe. After this has been done click on OK. The following warning screen will come up.

Click on Yes, then click on Apply in the Internet Properties window then OK. Restart your browser and then it should work.
